Our studio is a dynamic environment, serving as both a public storefront and an operational jewelry studio. As a Shop Assistant, tasks vary daily, with the primary focus being to provide exceptional customer service and ensure every visitor has a positive, memorable experience!
SHOP ASSISTANT

Ideal Candidate

- Tech Savvy: Proficient computer skills, with Shopify knowledge being a plus. Basic knowledge of tools like GMail, Word, Excel.
- Appreciation for Handmade Work: Passionate about supporting local businesses and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of addressing customer inquiries or resolving minor studio issues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service is our top priority, and your role will focus on assisting customers with their needs, ensuring they have a positive and memorable experience in our studio.
- Organizing and maintaining the studio workspace to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
- Managing inventory and tagging products.
- Packing and shipping orders.
- Occasionally delivering packages to designated shipping providers.
- Assisting with private parties and workshops hosted in the studio or at external events.
- Providing support at local vendor events and private parties.
Hours & Compensation
Part-Time: 24-26 hours per week, depending on events hosted at the studio and local vendor events.
*Additional hours may be available during busy seasons, private parties or local vendor events
Wednesdays & Thursdays 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Fridays 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Saturday 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

This hands-on role involves working directly with metals and gemstones to bring our designs to life. You'll be part of a small, creative team committed to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
BENCH JEWELER

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate embodies:
- Experience: Previous bench jewelry experience, preferably with fine metalworking techniques.
- Technical Skills: Strong soldering, fabrication, and finishing abilities with a high level of precision.
- Efficiency: Able to manage time well and work through small-batch and custom orders with consistency and care.
- Flexibility: Open to a variable, project-based schedule depending on studio needs.
- Stone Setting: Experience setting faceted stones is a major plus.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in producing high-quality handmade work.
- Studio Awareness: Comfortable working in a shared creative space with attention to safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs, including chain repairs, resizing, and polishing.
- Fabricate and assemble small-batch jewelry designs using sterling silver, gold-filled, and solid gold/ white gold materials.
- Work on custom orders, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper safety procedures.
Hours & Compensation
- Hourly pay for time spent in the studio.
- Piece-rate pay for custom work and production orders.
- Potential for increased hours or a permanent position based on demand.
