As an artist and business owner, no two days are alike. There are custom orders, events, new collections, and each piece is completely unique. With that in mind, in this post, I’m going to take you through a day-in-the-life at Pure Life Jewelry and what you can expect when working with us!
The Pure Life studio is located in Tempe, AZ which is about 40 minutes away from my house. So each morning I grab my coffee and make my commute. I have a rescued pitbull, Ace who loves coming to the studio so he is almost always my companion on these mini road trips to work.
Shop and Studio Time
With Ace settled comfortably in his bed by my workbench, I dive into my craft. The shop and studio are my sanctuary. Surrounded by the tools of my trade, I begin shaping metal and selecting gemstones, each piece carrying the promise of a unique story.
On a typical workday, I produce our most popular designs, fulfill custom orders, and take permanent jewelry appointments.

Connecting with Customers
In the afternoons, I focus on connecting with my customers. I respond to emails, update my website, and share behind-the-scenes glimpses of my work on social media. It's a wonderful way to engage with my community, share my passion, and gather feedback on my latest creations.

Preparing for Events and Festivals
As the weekend approaches, I start to prepare for any shows or events we might have on the schedule where I showcase my handcrafted jewelry. It's a whirlwind of activity as we pack up display materials, inventory, and, of course, a cozy spot for Ace to relax at the booth.
Weekend Adventures with Ace
The weekends are a special time for us. Ace gets to meet new people and make furry friends, while I get to share my jewelry with a broader audience. We've become quite the dynamic duo at these events, and Ace's presence often draws smiles and warm conversations. During these events, I am often doing back-to-back permanent jewelry services while my team sells our product.
Being a metalsmith and business owner isn't just about crafting jewelry; it's about weaving stories, forming connections, and embracing everyday adventures with my teams and community. It's a journey that's filled with love and creativity, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
